We are delighted to warmly welcome our two newest Healing Touch team members and celebrate the one-year work anniversaries of two of our established colleagues.

New starters

The latest recruits are Operations Supervisor, Ian Godolphin, and Advanced Rehabilitation Assistant and Student Physiotherapist, Jenny Hall, who join the team to further strengthen our offering.

Ian has over fifteen years of experience in supporting children and adults in care and educational settings. As a primary school teaching assistant and site supervisor, Ian helped children with special educational needs and disabilities. He also has a wealth of experience working with therapy teams, gaining experience in Rebound Therapy and Hydrotherapy. He brings a wealth of experience, dedication and passion for making a difference in clients’ journeys, while ensuring the optimal functioning of the Healing Touch team.

Jenny has joined the team as a Student Physiotherapist and Advanced Rehabilitation Assistant for the North East. She has worked for the NHS in Newcastle for over five years as a community paediatric technical instructor and lead children support practitioner. She has twelve years’ experience working with children with complex needs and has trained in Makaton, Rebound Therapy and Hydrotherapy (Halliwick).

We are thrilled to have them both on the team and we all wish them the best of luck.

Celebrating milestones

Alongside our new starters, we’re also celebrating the one-year work anniversaries of two exceptional members of the team: Helga Machado, Advanced Rehabilitation Practitioner & Chartered Physiotherapist and Helen Maskill, Advanced Rehabilitation Assistant and Client Liaison Coordinator.

Commenting on the anniversaries, Healing Touch’s Clinical Director, Kay Ganguly said:

“Their compassion, dedication and commitment to transforming lives over the past year has been invaluable to Healing Touch. In only 365 days they’ve significantly impacted the journey to recovery for so many of our clients, and their contribution to clients is nothing short of remarkable. We’d like to say a massive thank you to Helga and Helen for an outstanding year of service.

Here’s to many more years of success, growth, and positively impacting the lives of patients by Team HealingTouch!”
