We’re pleased to announce that our Clinical Director, Kay Ganguly will join the impressive speaker lineup at Naidex 2024, the flagship event for the disability community, in Birmingham on 20-21 March 2024.

In her talk, ‘Therapeutic Positioning and Effective Problem Solving’, Kay will delve into the crucial role of therapeutic positioning and effective problem solving in complex disability. She will explore innovative approaches to optimise patient outcomes using standardised assessment and measurement tools. She will unravel the complexities of nighttime affecting patients and discuss effective strategies through real clinical case studies.

Kay will also feature in a panel discussion on ‘Optimising Interdisciplinary Collaboration for Independent Living’ alongside other experts from occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech-language pathology, and other fields.

Kay, an Independent Consultant in Physiotherapy and Neurorehabilitation, specialises in complex disability including brain injury, spinal injury and other physical disability with cognitive impairments. She has extensive experience ranging from acute Teaching Hospitals to community-based rehabilitation. Her area of expertise is in recommending and planning rehabilitation needs for neurologically impaired children and adults. With her extensive clinical experience, Kay is regularly instructed as an expert witness to provide evidence in complex and catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

Kay is honoured to be invited and will share insights at the upcoming conference, she commented:

I’ll be sharing some case studies and real-life examples from my own practice and commonly faced dilemmas. Working over the years with clients with additional needs and their families, I have developed deep understanding and passion for this profession and I am excited to share my experience with the Naidex audience.”
